Metal construction strong magnet. It is a tall and strong phone holder. One side has magsafe compliant magnet head and the other side has a sticky base. I removed the sticky base by rolling it with my finger. Under the sticky head, the base is plastic and has no magnetic properties or embedded magnets. It can be removed though and replaced with something metal as it is attached with small screws. The joint locations are tightened with hex screws. So if joints get loosened by time you can simply tighten them. The magnet head is attached to a metal ball connected to the main body with another hex screw. The magnet head sits on this ball joint with a plastic tightener. It works very nicely. The magnets are really strong, it holds the magsafe phone cover or any other metal object really tightly. Except the base plate being a sticky design, I think this item is very useful. Show less
Awesome product. This is a good phone holder for cars. The base sticks well and is sturdy! The magnet though can be stronger as the ring does hold but comes off driving over bumps.
Great buy. It stays nicely on dashboard of car and is adjustable to your view. Highly recommended.
